Greg Land is a great artist and it saddens me to say that he has not gotten a lot of work in Marvel recently, well at least the marvel series I read on a weekly basis.  His style incorporates realism and the comic book abstractness that makes him very unique and to date I feel no one has really been able to replicate him.  If they have tried they have failed greatly and I feel that he SHOULD receive more attention.

If you haven’t noticed, I like realism in my comics and feel that it gives a more concrete feeling to them.  Like they can actually translate in to real forms and people and they have the possibility of happening.  With artists like Land my dreams can come to reality and I can sustain the hope of actually living through my comics as I live every day.  Cheers to you Greg Land for turning fantasy into reality.
